He needs a lift!

I think it has one, just a 1 inch though.

I mean if it was for just hitting some of the unpaved roads into national forests or deserts then it would be fine. I think my wife would like a set up like this so we could get to some of the better trails in the mountains. Don’t need a jeep for them, just something that only a few inches off the ground like our cars.

yeah, its plenty for a lot of trails. No question.

I want to like it, it looks great. But logic says it’s slow as a snail and added tire and ground clearance do nothing to its off-road performance.

Needs skid plates, a Roo bar, WARN winch, LED lightbar above the windshield, and a “shocker” window cling on the back hatch

I’ve seen them at moab you’d be amazed by what those little things can do....I bet it has a better power to weight ratio they your Suv.

its not the power to weight, its the power to wheels. this doesn’t have that.

Replace the shocker with a “if in doubt, flat out” sticker and I’m down

It’s slow as a snail, because it needs a snail.

You need to gear down, like a low range in the old Subaru GL. Then you can go places.

Subaru GL transfer case swap?

You might be right. I don’t see any point in the lift unless its 2"+.

yeeaaaahhhh but me thinks an owner of a lifted Crosstrek doesn’t care about others’ sensitivity

Thanks! That’s my 2015. My dad just recently bought a 2017 Pre Lifted (pictured next to mine before it was lifted)
Now I just need to get my mom on the Lifted subaru bandwagon.

Slip the clutch and give it hell....if things break upgrade. It’s no rock crawler for sure but if you’re willing a abuse it get places, a low gear in a new Subaru would be fun.
